Solicitation 36C26026R0100 for project 531-26-3-5043-0091 Exterior Painting Boise VAMC BLDGS 4, 120, 124 is estimated to be posted to Federal Contracting Opportunities on or about July 24, 2026, with an estimated closing date on or about August 7, 2026. This will be 100% SDVOSB set-aside.
The scope of this project includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to prepare and paint designated exterior buildings elements at the Boise VA Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. All work shall conform to the Statement of Work, manufacturer specifications, and applicable VA standards.
General Requirements Prepare, prime (as required), and apply finish coats to all specified surfaces per manufacturer instructions and VA/industry best practices. Match existing colors unless otherwise directed in writing Protect adjacent surfaces, landscaping, vehicles, pedestrians, and during painting operations. Repair, at no cost to the Government, any damage resulting from Contractor activities to equal or better than the original condition. Coordinate all work hours, site access, equipment staging, and safety/security measures with the COR and Facility Engineering Service prior to commencing work. Surface Preparation All Areas Clean all surfaces to remove dirt, mildew, loose coatings, rust, grease, and other contaminants using approved methods (hand tools, power washing, detergent, or solvent cleaning). Scrape and sand areas of loose or peeling paint; feather edges to sound substrate. Repair minor surface defects (cracks, holes) with compatible patching materials. Spot-prime bare, patched, or rusted areas with materials compatible with the finish system. Mask and protect all materials and areas not scheduled for painting. Buildings Building 4 Paint all exterior window frames, sashes, and trim. Paint all soffits and fascia. Paint rear walkway framing, beams, posts, soffits, and all metal/wood components including handrails and guardrails. Paint front patio cover and associated deck structure, including posts, beams, soffits, fascia, deck, guardrails, handrails, and undersides. Paint all previously painted exterior siding, doors, frames, and trim. Building 120 Paint previously coated soffits, fascia, doors, frames, and trim.
