All contractual documents (i.e., contracts, purchase orders, task orders, delivery orders, and modifications) related to the procurement are "issued" by the Government when copies are deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic methods such as email. The Government's acceptance of the contractor's proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to "issue" contractual documents as detailed here. 4. Delivery Schedule: Submission of Certification Data CDRLs: on or before 20 days prior to scheduled delivery. Review/acceptance of Certification CDRLs: 30 working days after receipt. Final delivery: on or before 365 days after the effective date of the contract. 5. Only sources with an acceptable Quality Control Manual are eligible for award. The procurement will not be delayed for additional source approval. 6. Contracts will be rated "DX/DO" certified for national defense use under DPAS. 7. If packaged at a different location, provide the name, address, and CAGE of the facility. 8. Early and incremental delivery is acceptable at no extra cost. 9. NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg will consider past performance in offer evaluation. 1. Scope The material in this contract will be used in a crucial shipboard system. Incorrect or defective material could cause failure, personnel injury, loss of life, or ship loss. The material is designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS (Level I, Scope of Certification, or Quality Assured) with special control procedures to ensure receipt of correct material. 2. Applicable Documents Order of precedence: In case of conflict, the contract/purchase order text takes precedence over references/drawings, unless overridden by law or regulation. Applicable documents include specifications, standards, and other references, which form part of this contract, including modifications or exclusions. Specification revisions: The preferred revision is listed under "Documents References". Older or newer revisions are acceptable if listed in CSD155 in ECDS. Revisions reflecting editorial changes are acceptable if listed within CSD155 or elsewhere in the contract. All referenced documents must be obtained by the contractor, with ordering info included as an attachment. 3. Requirements The ball, bearing, must conform to ASTM F2215 and MS19064, Part number MS19064-20014, with specific notes on verification and certification, including chemical and mechanical analysis, hardness testing, and certification of compliance. Testing certifications are required for specific attributes, including ultrasonic inspection and hardness tests, with detailed procedures and performance standards.
