The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Product Test Center Division in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking to procure advanced 3D scanning systems and consumables for additive manufacturing operations. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Product Test Center Division, Engineering & Technical Support Directorate, Columbus, Ohio - OEMs Highlighted: - Artec (Artec Micro II automated desktop scanner) - Creaform (HandySCAN 3D EVO Elite Limited handheld scanner) - Stratasys (Fortus 450 3D printer and consumables) - Products Requested: - 2 Artec Micro II automated desktop laser scanners - Each includes Artec Studio Pro lifetime license and a laptop capable of running the software - High-resolution (5 microns or better), Windows-based OS, scan envelope 20x20x15 cm - 1 HandySCAN 3D EVO Elite Limited handheld scanner - Includes initial calibration, all cables, computers, monitors, stands, and software - Resolution 0.015mm or better - Fortus 450 3D printer consumables (Stratasys approved): - 24 ASA filament canisters (8 orange, 8 white, 8 blue; 90-ci each) - 6 SR-30 support material canisters (90-ci each) - 6 T10/T12 SR-30 tip sets - 6 T12/T12 SR-30 tip sets - 4 brush and wiper sets - Services Requested: - Two days of on-site training for up to five laboratory associates on the Artec Micro II scanner and software - Notable Requirements: - All scanners must be compatible with existing PTC equipment and software - Lifetime software licenses required for Artec Micro II - Consumables must be Stratasys approved and compatible with Fortus 450 - Delivery required within 8-10 weeks from award; minimum one-year warranty from installation - Installation and calibration included for all scanners

Description

This pre-solicitation synopsis notice is to procure three (3) laser scanner systems, several replacement parts for a Fortus 450 3D printer, and a other consumables needed for the Product Test Center (PTC) Electronics lab located in Columbus, Ohio.  Of the three scanners, two (2) Artec Micro II scanners and one (1) HandySCAN EVO Elite Limited scanner are required to ensure compatibilty with existing PTC equipment and software.
