Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis the purchase of thirty (30) each, PRC-648 Personal Locator Beacon’s (PLB) for E-2D Production Flight Crews (P/N  21530912775) from Elbit Systems, CAGE Code 3686A. This action supports the procurement of thirty (30) each, PRC-648 Personal Locator Beacon’s (PLB) for E-2D Production Flight Crews, under contract N00421-25-G-0007. The estimated award date is 31 Aug 2026 and the estimated value is $150,000. The estimated delivery date is 01 December 2026. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."

Purpose of this Notice: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement with a capability statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
