The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking a contractor for significant improvements to the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Maryland. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - ARS Acquisition and Property Division, NEA Facilities Division, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center - Scope of Work: - Furnish and install submersible pumps and control panels for the Westside WWTP Influent Lift Station (2 pumps) and Equalization Basin Pump Station (1 pump) - Repair or replace four blowers for the Eastside WWTP Sludge Holding Tanks - Provide pre-wired, tested control panels with advanced monitoring and control features - Field service by manufacturer’s engineer for inspection, testing, and training of Owner’s personnel - All equipment must meet specified performance criteria and fit existing infrastructure - Products/Services Requested: - 2 submersible pumps (Westside Influent Lift Station): 530 gpm @ 27 ft head, 8 inch discharge, 8.5 HP, non-clog impeller (4 inch solids) - 1 submersible pump (Equalization Basin): 70 gpm @ 13 ft head, 4 inch discharge, 1 HP, non-clog impeller (2 inch solids) - 2 control panels (NEMA 4X 304 SS, 480V 3-phase, HMI, remote monitoring) - 4 blowers (Eastside Sludge Holding Tanks): United Blower Inc. or equivalent, 485 SCFM, 1700 rpm, 31 HP, 9.5 psig, 85 dBA - Field service: 1 day per pump/control system (3 total) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be compatible with existing piping and infrastructure - Blowers must match United Blower Inc. specifications or be equivalent - Includes testing, commissioning, and training - Mandatory site visit, performance and payment bonds, and detailed technical approach required - Set aside for SBA Certified Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) under NAICS 238220 - No specific OEMs are mandated, but United Blower Inc. is referenced for blower specifications

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1041 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Waste Water Treatment Improvements at Beltsville, MD.
