This will be competitive under the established "Trail Construction and Maintenance BPA". Additional contractors will not be considered for this BPA.

Description: There is an open mine shaft within the shoulder of USFS Road 7316-511 that is a safety issue for any vehicle travel. The shaft is wood cribbed at surface entry with additional wood and metal materials partially covering the opening. The work that needs to be performed is to safely close the shaft to the ground surface to eliminate potential falls into the shaft by vehicles and or foot traffic. We estimate the shaft cover will need to be 15 feet by 15 feet (225 sq. ft) in dimension.
