Description
The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is soliciting applications for a cooperative agreement to support training and technical assistance (TTA) aimed at ensuring access to evidence-based addiction treatment through drug courts, including cases where substance use disorder co-occurs with other mental health conditions. The cooperative agreement aims to educate, train, and produce materials to improve evidence-based treatment implementation, reduce criminal justice costs and recidivism, and improve access to addiction treatment including medications for opioid use disorder. The recipient will provide in-person and online training and jurisdiction-specific technical assistance at state, local, and tribal levels, and conduct an independent assessment of the effectiveness of the training and assistance provided. The award is expected to fund one recipient for a two-year period starting September 2026 with a total funding amount of $6,000,000.
