Description

The City of Edinburg is seeking proposals for an Insurance Benefit Consultant to review group medical, group ancillary, and group voluntary RFPs to ensure the City offers competitive employee benefit packages while ensuring regulatory compliance. The consultant will act as an advisor for fully funded medical plans providing analysis and quarterly reporting, or as a financial advisor for self-insured plans. The consultant will also provide assistance such as vendor sourcing for third-party administrators, pharmacy benefits, and stop-loss carriers. The contract is expected to commence immediately following the selection process and includes a scope of services with termination rights if the scope is not met.
