This opportunity is for the lease of a 1,000kW Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) to support Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, managed by the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) under the Department of the Navy (NAVSEA). - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility - Products/Services Requested: - Lease of one (1) 1,000kW Diesel Generator for 12 months - Generator must supply 460VAC, 3-phase, 60 Hz power - Brake horsepower under 2,000 - Must comply with NFPA and EPA standards - Features: remote/local start, integrated double-wall UL 142 fuel tank (16 hours at full load), NEMA 3R ISO enclosure, main output circuit breaker (min. 1200A), output bus bars for two 500 kcmil cables per phase, maintenance-free batteries, battery charger, water jacket heater, non-resettable hour meter, visual/audible alarms, automatic shutdown, secondary fluid containment, and crane lift points - All components must be NRTL listed - Technical support and maintenance services: - 24/7 on-call technical support (NIASE certified diesel mechanic) - Problem diagnosis within 4 hours, repairs/replacement within 48 hours - Load testing, filter/hose/belt replacement, enclosure cleaning - On-site training and demonstration upon delivery - CDRL Package Exhibits A & B (not separately priced) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Generator must be self-contained and delivered ready for operation - Expected annual run time is under 100 hours - Small business set-aside under NAICS 532490 - All safety and compliance standards (NFPA, EPA, NRTL) must be met - No specific OEMs or part numbers are mandated; open to any compliant manufacturer

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written notice will not be issued.

PSNS & IMF, located in Bremerton, WA, is requesting a quote from your firm for the item(s) listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
