Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving the attainment plan and comprehensive emissions inventory for the Canton Nonattainment Area for the 2008 Lead National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) submitted by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA is also determining that the Canton Nonattainment Area has attained the 2008 Lead NAAQS and is approving Ohio's maintenance plan for continued attainment. Consequently, the EPA is redesignating the Canton Nonattainment Area from nonattainment to attainment of the 2008 Lead standard. This action is effective July 16, 2026.
