The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) is developing its Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2027-2031 and is seeking input from a broad range of stakeholders including researchers, health care professionals, patient advocates, and federal partners. The RFI aims to gather comments on research needs, gaps, opportunities, and emerging scientific areas relevant to dental, oral, and craniofacial health and disease. Input will inform the strategic directions of NIDCR to advance scientific discovery, integrate research with the broader biomedical enterprise, strengthen research capacity, and improve research operations. Comments must be submitted electronically by September 14, 2026.
