Description
This notice announces that on June 5, 2026, the presiding chief administrative law judge issued an Initial Determination on Violation of Section 337 and Recommendation on Remedy and Bond for an investigation concerning certain glow fish tape systems, safety helmet systems, and components thereof. The U.S. International Trade Commission is soliciting public and government agency submissions on public interest issues related to the recommended relief, should a violation be found. Comments should address the impact of the recommended remedial orders on public health and welfare, competitive conditions, production of like or competitive articles in the U.S., and U.S. consumers. Written submissions are due by August 13, 2026, and must be filed electronically referencing Investigation No. 337-TA-1442.
