The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will hold a public meeting via webinar on August 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT. The meeting will discuss topics including South Atlantic Spawning Special Management Zones, stock assessments for red grouper, snowy grouper, and vermilion snapper, and evaluation of stock risk ratings. The SSC will also receive updates from workgroups and panels and provide guidance and recommendations for Council consideration. Registration is required to attend the webinar.
