Description

The District of Houston invites bids for the construction work involving the removal and disposal of existing filter media from six manganese greensand pressure filters, internal inspection of filter vessels and components, optional replacement of damaged components, replacement of filter media including manganese greensand, anthracite, gravel, and torpedo sand, and chlorination and bacterial testing of the filters. The work will be completed sequentially to maintain potable water production. The successful bidder will enter into a CCDC 2 (2020) Stipulated Price Contract.
