The County of Merced Department of Public Works is seeking contractors for up to two Job Order Contracts (JOCs) to support a broad range of building and infrastructure projects. - Buyer: County of Merced Department of Public Works, Public Works Director's Office - Scope of work includes: - Repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and demolition of county-owned buildings, offices, facilities, structures, and infrastructure - Services delivered via Job Order Contracting (JOC) methodology - Contract details: - Up to two contracts, each with a maximum value of $6,402,606 - Initial term of 12 months, with three optional one-year extensions - Indefinite quantity; work issued through individual Job Orders - Key OEM requirement: - Use of The Gordian Group’s proprietary JOC Solution, including JOC Information Management System (JOC IMS), Construction Task Catalog®, and cost data - Contractors must execute Gordian’s General Terms of Use and pay a 1% JOC System License Fee on all job orders - Contractor requirements: - Valid California Class A contractor's license - Compliance with California prevailing wage laws and Department of Industrial Relations registration - $25,000 bid security and $250,000 payment and performance bonds - Notable requirements: - All pricing based on Gordian’s Construction Task Catalog and bidder-submitted Adjustment Factors - Liquidated damages apply for delays beyond job order completion times
