Description

Tarrant County is seeking responses for the design and implementation of a cost-effective, highly available Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) and Software-Defined Network Services (SD-WAN) for Tarrant County offices and data center locations. The vendor must provide a seamless end-to-end service traversing from the customer handoff through the vendor's network while minimizing protocol conversion. The service shall provide transmission of digital signals in a dedicated high-capacity channel with all Metro-Ethernet locations connected multipoint to multipoint (full-mesh). Additionally, the SD-WAN deployment should include diverse service deployment with direct, secured internet connectivity to select locations, serving as redundant or primary network service, and will be vendor-managed with vendor-supplied equipment.
