The Towns of Ayer, Harvard, Shirley, the Devens Enterprise Commission (DEC), MassDevelopment, the Ayer Shirley Regional School District (ASRSD), and Harvard Public Schools (HPS) are seeking proposals from qualified firms or consultants to conduct a comprehensive School Needs Assessment. The study aims to evaluate current and projected educational needs based on demographic trends, development, school capacity, and facilities, including the impact of growth within the Devens Regional Enterprise Zone and the towns of Ayer, Harvard, and Shirley. The objective is to provide data to inform the public and decision makers about future educational and facility needs for the region. This project is funded by a Housing Choice Grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
