The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is seeking proposals for a comprehensive upgrade of its electronic Access Control System (ACS) across multiple transit facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio. - Government Buyer: - Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), Safety Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Genetec (all new controllers and system integration must be Genetec-compatible) - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of 147 existing door controllers and card readers with Genetec-compatible, networked controllers and new card readers at seven facilities - Includes 26 doors at Huntington Center, 45 at Queensgate, 25 at Bond Hill, 13 at Access Facility, 2 at Riverfront Transit Center, 2 at Northside Transit Center, and 3 at Glenway Crossing Transit Center - Provision of 4 badging workstations with camera and badge printer (one per major facility) - Pre-testing and inspection of all access-controlled doors, including wiring and device condition assessment - Database migration and import into Genetec Security Center (version 5.12) - Installation, testing, and documentation of all new equipment - Maintenance and operations training for SORTA staff - Five-year maintenance and support plan, including preventative maintenance and firmware updates - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only certified Genetec Channel Partners with at least 5 years of relevant integration experience are eligible - 100% small and disadvantaged business set-aside - Compliance with federal regulations and submission of a small business participation plan - Maintenance response times specified by priority (from 15 minutes to 1 business day) - Work may require night and weekend hours to minimize operational disruption
Description
This solicitation is for the upgrade and migration of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority's (SORTA) Access Control System across multiple facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio. The project involves a complete update of the existing electronic access control system and migration into SORTA's existing Genetec Security Center unified electronic security management system. The scope includes replacing door controllers and card readers (except at Huntington Center), pre-testing existing access controlled portals, inspecting wiring, documenting and repairing faults, and providing maintenance and operations training.
