Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to perform the Dredge “Murden” with a crane rental with operator in Norfolk County, Virginia
The work includes providing (1) 50-60-TON Rough Terrain, Truck-Mounted, or equivalent Crane with Operator to facilitate swapping out (2) CUMMINS Generator Engines (approximately 3,500-lbs each) for the Dredge Murden while dockside at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District Office (section 3). The crane shall be capable of performing a 3,500-lb lift (approximate weight of one generator engine) with an 80’ radius. The crane and operator shall be required for up to 12 hours per day, Monday through Sunday (as needed) to facilitate the removal and installation of the PORT and STBD Generator Engines.
This solicitation is unrestricted.
The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price.
This solicitation will be issued as oral quotes via email and will be available on or about 16 July 2026.
The due date will be specified in the Request for Quote when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 – All Other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $19,000,000.00.
