Description
The Government is conducting a SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION to identify potential sources that possess the support, expertise, and capabilities to meet sustainment requirements for the Radioisotope Identification Detector (RIID) Repair Program, SL23-N VeriFinder, NSN: 6665-01-696-1882. This requirement includes but is not limited to; engineering services, testing, repair procedures as related to structural, mechanical, and electrical design, and engineering/technical sustainment.
As part of its market research, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/ Human Systems Program Office (AFLCMC/ROU) is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.
The Air Force is seeking companies that have the capability to repair or maintain approximately 375 Radioisotope Identification Detectors (RIID) over the course of a 5-year period. These requirements include maintenance (cleaning, replacing parts), repairs (cleaning, repairing to Condition Code A), calibration, software updates, and any needed changes to training materials and technical manual maintenance for the Radioisotope Identification Detector (RIID)(SL23-N VeriFinder, NSN: 6665-01-696-1882).
