USDA APHIS Wildlife Services in Ohio is seeking qualified meat processing facilities to provide comprehensive deer carcass processing services. - Government Buyer: - US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services, Ohio - Scope of Services: - Full-service processing of 100 to 1,600 deer annually, primarily from October to March - Processing includes skinning, venison removal, grinding, packaging (in 1- or 5-pound units), freezing, storage, and distribution - Separate handling and labeling of deer sampled for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) until cleared - Disposal of waste and offal is the processor's responsibility - Facilities must be within 60 miles of Brecksville, OH and comply with all USDA and Ohio regulations - Timely turnaround and monthly invoicing via IPP.gov with detailed project data required - Maintain accessible processing records for one year - Contract Structure: - Indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed-price contract - Five-year ordering period with a $1,000,000 ceiling and possible six-month extension - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide packaging, labeling, and disposal for various stages of carcass preparation (whole, decapitated, innards/offal removed) - Technical capability and past performance are key evaluation criteria - No specific OEMs or commercial product manufacturers are named; this is a service-based procurement - All detailed requirements and line items are provided in the attachments

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
