This opportunity is for the reconstruction of Greenough Campground in the Custer-Gallatin National Forest, Montana, managed by the USDA Forest Service. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Custer-Gallatin National Forest, CSA Southwest 7, Beartooth Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Full reconstruction of Greenough Campground, including new loop construction and well drilling - Major construction activities: clearing, grading, excavation, aggregate base placement, asphalt paving, chip sealing, culvert installation, and site amenities installation - Installation of recreation infrastructure: picnic tables, fire rings, bear boxes, concrete vault toilets, fishing pier/platform, signage, and bulletin boards - Drilling and construction of a new public water supply well (approx. 50-100 feet deep) with steel casing, grout, disinfection, and water quality testing - Well to include a monitor hand pump and serve a new campground loop - Products/Materials (selected examples): - Asphalt Concrete Class B (over 13,000 SY total) - Base aggregate (over 2,000 CY total) - Steel fire rings (27 units), picnic tables (28 units), bear boxes (16 units) - Concrete wheelstops, signage, and bulletin boards - Steel well casing (10-inch and 6-inch), bentonite/cement grout, chlorine disinfectant - Services: - Mobilization, surveying, construction staking - Well drilling and construction by licensed contractor - Water quality sampling, laboratory analysis, yield/drawdown testing, plumbness/alignment testing - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with Montana DEQ well construction standards - 20% bid guarantee required for quotes over $150,000 - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 237990 - Firm-fixed price contract with mandatory completion within 283 days after notice to proceed - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; all materials must meet specified standards (e.g., ASTM A53 for steel casing) - Quantities and technical details are provided for each construction and installation item

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 127EAX26Q0055 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Greenough Campground Reconstruction on the Custer-Gallatin National Forest.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 237990. The small business size standard is $45 Million.
