Description
The Trustees of the California State University are soliciting proposals for an advanced shovel-ready 20-year Site License Power Purchase Agreement (SLPPA) for the California State University, Bakersfield Solar & Battery Project. The selected provider will finance, construct through licensed contractors, own, operate, maintain, and ultimately remove or transfer the solar and battery system. The project includes a 4.55 MWdc / 3.5 MWac solar PV system and a 2.93 MW / 11.75 MWh battery energy storage system using three Tesla Megapack 2 XL units. Proposals must be submitted by September 16, 2026, and a mandatory job walk is scheduled for August 5, 2026.
