This opportunity invites New York State municipalities to participate in the Municipal Permitting Modernization Program, managed by NYSERDA's Contract Management division. - Government Buyer: - New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Contract Management, Codes Products and Standards office - OEMs and Vendors: - Citizenserve® (primary OEM and software provider) - Additional technical support provider contracted by NYSERDA - Products/Services Requested: - Two-year subscription to Citizenserve®, a browser-based SaaS platform for municipal building plan approval and permitting - Configuration and deployment support for the software - Training for municipal staff on Citizenserve® - Technical support services - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Program is only available to cities, towns, villages, and counties within New York State - No-cost access for two years, provided on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted - No set-aside goals for SDVOB, MWBE, or DBE participation - Aims to modernize municipal permitting and accelerate housing and infrastructure projects

Description

The Municipal Permitting Modernization Program provides New York State municipalities with two years of no-cost access to a software platform designed to improve workflow and modernize municipal building and zoning processes. The program supports New York's agenda to accelerate housing development, reduce costs for families, and ensure critical infrastructure projects proceed without delays. Participants will receive configuration, deployment, training, and technical support from the software vendor and a dedicated provider contracted by NYSERDA. The software offered is Citizenserve®, a browser-based Software-as-a-Service platform for building plan approval.
