This opportunity is for vendors to enhance the video surveillance perimeter at the USDA National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH) in Ames, Iowa. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) - National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH), Veterinary Services (VS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) - Scope of Work: - Upgrade and installation of video surveillance equipment, including cameras, at the NCAH campus - Installation of provided video surveillance thermal cameras (6 units) on concrete pole bases at southeast and east fence lines - Installation of approximately 1,500 feet of 1-1/4 size PVC conduit underground - Installation of 2 concrete pole bases with anchor bolts, conduit, and grounding equipment - Pulling of underground-rated Category 6 cable from Building C8 mechanical room to mounted enclosures - Programming and integration of cameras and equipment as per manufacturer instructions - All labor, materials, tools, and full manufacturer warranty included - One-year warranty and repair services with 24-hour on-site response, including holidays, by licensed and certified technicians - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to bio-security and safety protocols on site - Government supplies specific equipment (cameras, mounts, poles, cables); contractor provides installation and integration - Compliance with federal regulations and anti-discrimination laws - Evaluation based on technical approach, price, and past performance - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named in the solicitation - All work must comply with the overarching BPA for Nationwide Security System Maintenance, Repair, and Installation Services

Description

The intent of this specification is, Requesting a Quotation for BPA call under 12639523A0029, to provide the National Centers for Animal Health, specifically; located at 1920 Dayton Ave, Ames, Iowa 50010, with an infrastructure for  adding security measures consisting of Video Surveillance modifications that will enhance the protection of the facility, assets and safety of personnel. 

All performance must be in accordance with overall BPA for Nationwide Security System Maintenance, Repair and Installation Services. If there is contradiction between the BPA SOW and Order Level SOW, the BPA SOW prevails.
