This notice details the Air Combat Command's intent to award a sole source contract to VideoRay, LLC for Mission Specialist Defender ROV systems and related equipment to support rescue operations: - Procuring six complete VideoRay Mission Specialist Defender ROV systems, each with controllers, navigation packages, sonar, software, accessories, batteries, chargers, and spares kits - All items specified by VideoRay part numbers, requiring OEM equipment - Includes Greensea EOD Workspace software and a one-year Greensea Upgrade and Support subscription - Bren-Tronics and Brenegy batteries and chargers included - Manufacturer-certified operator training (5 days, on-site) for six operators - Equipment supports underwater search, rescue, recovery, diver support, and inspection for the 306th Rescue Squadron - Sole source justification based on compatibility with existing DoD Defender ROV platforms and unique OEM requirements - Estimated contract value is approximately $2.4 million - Period of performance includes one-year software support and 5-day training; equipment is a one-time purchase - No competition anticipated due to OEM and platform compatibility requirements

Description

Intent to sole source to VideoRay, LLC for the Mission Specialist Defender Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system and associated equipment. This is not a solicitation and quotes are not being accepted at the moment.

The Government has a requirement to procure the VideoRay Mission Specialist Defender Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system, associated equipment, software, accessories, and manufacturer-certified operator training in support of Air Combat Command rescue operations. The required system will support underwater search, rescue, recovery, diver support, and underwater inspection operations. Interested parties believing they can provide the required supplies and services are encouraged to submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to satisfy the Government's minimum requirements.
