Readers shall not construe this pre-solicitation notice as a commitment by the Government for any purpose.
The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order to a small business concern. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $19 million. Prospective contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) under the NAICS 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, to be eligible to receive an award. In accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary Far Overhaul (RFO) FAR12.201-1, Simplified Procedures, the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Joint Base LewisMcChord (MICC-JBLM) intends to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, tools, materials, supervision and non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance on five (5) vehicle gates that require quarterly maintenance to ensure 24/7 operation of the gates. The scope encompasses a cyclic quarterly maintenance schedule designed to identify, mitigate, and repair wear-and-tear before catastrophic failure occurs. The Contractor shall execute these services in strict accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 325 safety standards, and applicable Department of Defense (DoD) physical security regulations on the vehicle gates. The Period of Performance will be for a Base Year and four (4) Option Years.
The Government will not entertain questions at this time; however, potential offerors may submit comments in response to this pre-solicitation notice.
