This opportunity is for specialized genomic and genetic analysis services to support the USDA's Atlantic salmon aquaculture breeding program. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Northeast Area (NEA), National Cold Water Marine Aquaculture Center - Scope of Work: - Multi-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $350,000 - Three one-year ordering periods - Services required include: - Genotype Quality Control (QC) for up to 4,500 samples per period - Genomic Estimated Breeding Values (gEBV) Estimation for up to 4,500 samples per period - Quantification of Genetic Parameters and genome-wide association studies (GWAS) for fillet fat content and pigment (up to 2,500 samples in the final period) - Database Management and data integration with USDA systems - Mating Pair allocation optimization (up to 150 pairs per period) - Project Management and Reporting - Deliverables: - QC reports, gEBV results, GWAS reports, mating plans, and technical reports - All deliverables must include reproducible workflows and code - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must have expertise in aquaculture genetics and relevant software tools - Set aside for economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses under NAICS 541380 - No specific OEMs or commercial product part numbers are referenced; this is a service-based scientific procurement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
