Description
Leadership in the USSF requires a specialized, technical, and warfighting mindset focused on out-thinking and out-maneuvering adversaries. While grounded in foundational Department of War (DoW) leadership competencies, USSF leaders must prioritize space superiority, competitive endurance, and joint force integration. The USSF SLIC Pilot provides a targeted orientation to ensure general officers and civilian executives are prepared to dominate the space domain and navigate the strategic, political, and acquisition landscapes of the national security environment.
The scope includes a full range of technical, functional, and managerial expertise to support the development, sustainment, and facilitation of the USSF SLIC Pilot. The goal is to prepare newly confirmed USSF General Officers and newly selected Senior Executive Service civilians to assume executive roles, operate in a complex strategic environment, and lead the USSF in securing the space domain. The applicable NAICS code for this effort is 721110: Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels.
