This opportunity seeks a contractor to deliver an accredited Asphalt Milling and Paving Training Program at the Federal Correctional Complex in Yazoo City, Mississippi. - Government Buyer: - Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons - National Acquisitions Section (Washington, DC) and Field Acquisition Office (Grand Prairie, TX) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or commercial vendors are named; the requirement is for an accredited post-secondary institution or vocational training school. - Products/Services Requested: - Provision of an Occupational Training Asphalt Paving Program Instructor - Classroom and hands-on instruction in asphalt milling and paving practices - Estimated 4 classes per year, approximately 15 students per 12-month period - Includes student registration, attendance, grading, certification, and CEUs - Contractor must provide qualified instructors and manage student records - BOP will supply equipment and materials - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Training must be delivered by an accredited institution or vocational school - Program must lead to a certificate and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) - Compliance with BOP standards and federal privacy requirements - Services provided Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with course length determined by the contractor - Multi-year contract: base year plus four option years, each requiring one unit of the program
