Description
In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), Ball State University intends to repatriate a cultural item identified as an object of cultural patrimony. The item is a Potawatomi Bandolier Bag with cultural affiliation to several Potawatomi tribes and Native Hawaiian organizations. The repatriation may occur on or after August 14, 2026. Requests for repatriation can be submitted by lineal descendants or culturally affiliated tribes or organizations.
