Description

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) intends to repatriate certain cultural items that are unassociated funerary objects, sacred objects, and/or objects of cultural patrimony affiliated with Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The items include ceramic pots from the Pueblo communities of the northern Rio Grande, particularly Pueblo de San Ildefonso. The repatriation may occur on or after August 14, 2026. Requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at UNC.
