The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) is developing its Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2027-2031 and is seeking input from a broad range of stakeholders including researchers, health care professionals, patient advocates, and others. The RFI aims to gather feedback on research needs, gaps, opportunities, and emerging scientific areas relevant to dental, oral, and craniofacial health and disease. Input will inform the strategic directions for the next plan, focusing on advancing scientific discovery, integration with the broader biomedical enterprise, research capacity, and research operations. Comments must be submitted electronically by September 14, 2026.
