Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Region intends to carry out the disposition of human remains and associated funerary objects removed from Federal or Tribal lands. The disposition will be made to the lineal descendants, Indian Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization with priority for disposition as stated in the notice. The human remains represent at least one individual of Native American ancestry, and the associated funerary objects include at least one lot of ceramics. Disposition may occur on or after August 14, 2026, and if no claim is received by July 15, 2027, the remains and objects will become unclaimed.
