The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is seeking an experienced firm to develop a report that provides the estimated Cost of New Entry (CONE) for greenfield power generation facilities located in Alberta. All cost estimates shall be prepared at an AACE Class 5 construction cost estimate level or equivalent industry standard. This procurement is a notice for planned procurement with no firm commitments at this stage. An RFP may be issued before the end of Q3 2026 for this Statement of Work.
