Garcia, QPA, Purchasing Agent - Scope of Work: - Construction of ADA compliant curb ramps - Installation and repair of concrete sidewalks (5" and 7" thick), driveway aprons, and vertical curbs - Resetting of brick paver sidewalks - Installation of detectable warning surfaces - Asphalt roadway restoration (surface and base courses) - Inlet reconstruction with bicycle safe grates and eco-type curb pieces - Thermoplastic traffic striping - Products/Services Requested: - ADA curb ramps (complete in place) - Concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons (various thicknesses) - Concrete vertical curbs and curb/gutter adjustments - Detectable warning surfaces (for accessibility compliance) - Asphalt surface and base courses for roadway restoration - Inlet reconstruction with specified grates and curb pieces - Thermoplastic traffic striping (8 inches) - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with ADA standards and city specifications - Work is on an as-needed, unit price basis at various city locations - Contractors must provide bid guarantees, surety, performance and payment bonds - Compliance with equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, ADA, prevailing wage, and other certifications is mandatory - Subcontractor and licensing information required if applicable - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; "Bridgestate #2618 Bicycle Safe Grate with 8 Eco-Type J Curb Piece or approved equal" is specified, allowing for equivalent products.

Description

The City of Trenton, Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, & Culture is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of ADA compliant curb ramps and related improvements. The project duration is for one year with an option to extend for an additional year. Bids are to be received by July 28, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Division of Purchasing, City Hall Annex, Trenton, New Jersey. Bidders may attend a virtual bid opening via Zoom and must submit questions by July 17, 2026.
