Description
This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is the fourth issued under NTIA's Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund. It aims to support the development of a secure compute environment to enable or leverage native artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in the Radio Access Network (RAN). The goal is to generate revenue for operators, cost savings, and innovative third-party services, and to demonstrate a business case for services leveraging these capabilities. The program seeks to accelerate commercial deployments and the export of open, interoperable, and secure equipment. Applicants must be capable of developing and commercially selling or deploying such solutions and must be organized under U.S. laws with their principal place of business in the U.S.
