The City of Lawrenceville Electric Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Grove Park Underground Loop (Electric) Project. - Government Buyer: - City of Lawrenceville, Lawrenceville Electric Department, Lawrenceville Finance Office - Scope of Work: - Installation of three new single-phase underground electric loops in a new development - Approximately 4,200 linear feet of 1/0 underground primary cable in 2" conduit - 15 new pad mount transformers (25kVA-100kVA) with concrete pads and grounding assemblies - 33 primary cable elbow terminations inside pad mount transformers and switch gear - 3,930 linear feet of 1/0 underground triplex cable in 2" conduit - 14 town and country lights with 20' direct bury poles - 14 UV-2 hand hole boxes at new light poles - 1 UM2-5A riser pole with terminations and uguard - 15 UV4 pedestals - 2,000 linear feet of #6 duplex cable for street lights and 1,800 feet of associated conduit - 60 feet of hand trenching and digging - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All conductors must be installed in conduit or pipe - Contractor must provide all necessary traffic control - Compliance with Georgia insurance and licensing laws, including minimum A.M. Best rating - Project must be completed within 140 consecutive days after Notice to Proceed; liquidated damages apply for delays - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; transformer and lighting brands are not specified - Pre-bid conference scheduled at City Hall

The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Grove Park Underground Loop (Electric) Project for the Lawrenceville Electric Department. The project involves installing three new separate single phase underground loops through a new development, including new primary, secondary, transformers, and lights with hand hole boxes. Work includes installation of underground primary cables, conduits, pad mount transformers, primary terminations, triplex cables, town and country lights, and a riser pole. The contractor will be responsible for energizing all underground primary and new riser poles, as well as providing traffic control as needed.
