Synopsis:
BOOM & SCISSOR LIFT MAINTENANCE sources sought. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. All interested parties should respond. The 182d Airlift Wing of the Illinois Air National Guard, Illinois intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to “Boom & Scissor Lift Maintenance”.
All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, with a notice stating their positive intent to submit a quotation as a prime contractor no later than 24 July 2026 12:00P.M. CST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include:
(1) Positive statement of intent to provide quotation as a prime contractor
(2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Response Form
(3) A listing of relevant projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.
(4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, key personnel, and personnel certified to inspect, test, and service the specific JLG and Genie equipment models that would be used to accomplish the contract.
(5) Provide current, official documentation proving your firm's technicians are OEM factory-trained and certified or possess formally recognized commercial equivalent training that qualifies them as authorized service technicians to maintain JLG and Genie aerial work platforms.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
