The City of Culver City Public Works Environmental Programs & Operations Division is seeking proposals for a turnkey replacement and relocation of the dust and odor control misting system at its Transfer Station. - Government Buyer: - City of Culver City Public Works Environmental Programs & Operations Division - Project Scope: - Complete design, engineering, and installation of a new industrial-grade high-pressure misting system for dust and odor suppression - Removal and disposal of the existing misting system, including all pump assemblies, control panels, chemical injection system, tubing, nozzles, wiring, and support structures - Relocation of pump assemblies and controls to a protected, rodent-resistant location - Installation of a new pump system (minimum 5 GPM, 1000 PSI, triplex plunger pump, 5 HP TEFC motor, 230V single-phase, with safety and monitoring features) - Control system with PLC-based controls, local operator interface, individual zone control (minimum five zones), alarms, and emergency stop, all in a corrosion-resistant, rodent-protected enclosure - Misting distribution system with high-pressure tubing, piping, manifolds, isolation valves, supports, and industrial-grade nozzles for at least five independently controllable zones - Odor control chemical injection system with adjustable dosing, backflow prevention, and secondary containment - Startup, testing, commissioning, and operational demonstration - Comprehensive operator and maintenance training (classroom and hands-on) - Provision of operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, electrical/control documentation, spare parts lists, warranty documentation, and maintenance checklists - Notable Requirements: - System must address deficiencies in the current installation, including improved accessibility, reduced exposure to debris, and rodent protection - Compliance with prevailing wage laws - Mandatory pre-proposal site visit - Electronic bid submission - Minimum one-year warranty period - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Vendors must recommend spare parts and provide detailed documentation
