Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source -99194 Journal of Adolescent Health Supplement
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price to Elsevier INC. The purpose of this acquisition is to fund Elsevier, the publisher of Journal of Adolescent Health (JAH), to develop a special supplement of the JAH that will highlight key findings from the YRBSS, including results from the 2025 national Youth Risk Behavior Survey data, YRBS trends over time, state and local data, and with a focus on high priority topics including mental health and suicide, cardiovascular health, and disordered eating. The objective is to produce a journal supplement that presents scientific articles written by Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) scientists which highlight the value of these data and provide important insights for the field on some of the most important challenges facing youth today. This benefits CDC through facilitating dissemination of CDC-funded YRBS survey results and contributing to the national conversation on disease prevention and health promotion of youth.
