This procurement seeks the replacement and installation of two heavy-duty dock lifts at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, Services 2, Pittsburgh PA - OEMs and Vendors: - Penta-Lift (specified as the reference OEM for equivalent models) - Products/Services Requested: - Two 8,000 lb capacity dock lifts - 1x USA-manufactured equivalent to Penta-Lift HED 688 (West Dock) - 1x USA-manufactured equivalent to Penta-Lift HED 488 (North Dock) - Both lifts must meet OSHA and VA safety standards and include electrical connections, control panels, hydraulic units, and safety features - Installation and training services - Removal and disposal of existing lifts - Site preparation, installation, electrical/hydraulic connections, anchoring, leveling, operational testing, and on-site staff training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Dock lifts must be USA-manufactured and equivalent to specified Penta-Lift models - All work must be completed within 90 days after Notice to Proceed - Opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - Compliance with OSHA and VA safety standards is mandatory
