The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking to establish up to five state master contracts for E-rate eligible networking hardware, software, and services to support all K-12 public school districts, the Kentucky School for the Blind, and the Kentucky School for the Deaf (175 entities total). - Government Buyer: - Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance and Administration Cabinet, Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Kentucky Department of Education - Products and Services Requested: - E-rate eligible network hardware: switches (L2/L3), routers, wireless access points, wireless controllers (physical/virtual), racks, cabling, antennas, firewalls, SD-WAN hardware - Software licenses (right-to-use, client access) - Installation and initial configuration of all network equipment - Basic maintenance and support for hardware and software - Managed internal broadband services for both existing and leased equipment - Training (on-site with installation and advanced/off-site options) - Non-E-rate eligible services: network access control, network management/security/analytics software, professional services, advanced firewall, network monitoring, and security enhancements - Quantities: - Quantities are placeholders; actual needs will be determined by individual school districts - Managed broadband services for up to 175 entities - Unique/Notable Requirements: - No preference for OEMs; open to all manufacturers - Contracts will set product standards and pricing for all Kentucky K-12 public schools - Compliance with Kentucky regulations (701 KAR 5:110) and a mandatory requirements checklist - Options for installment payment plans and leasing - Contracts may be extended to other state agencies with vendor consent - Contract term through September 30, 2029, with four optional two-year renewals
