The Kentucky State Department of Education is seeking to establish statewide master contracts for E-rate eligible networking hardware, software, and services for all 175 public K-12 school districts in Kentucky. - Government Buyer: - Kentucky State Department of Education (KDE) - Scope of Procurement: - Statewide master contracts for E-rate eligible networking solutions - Covers both Category 1 (data transmission, internet access, network equipment, maintenance, operations) and Category 2 (internal connections: routers, switches, racks, cabling, wireless access points, antennas, controllers, and related software/licenses) - Includes options for leasing and installment payment plans - Maintenance and managed services for both existing and leased equipment - Products/Services Requested: - Category One Network Equipment (100 Mbps to 100 Gbps capacity) - Routers, switches, racks, cabling, wireless access points, antennas, wireless controllers, and all necessary software/licenses - Basic maintenance for all internal connection components - Managed internal broadband services for both existing and leased equipment - Data transmission and internet access services - Quantities: - Quantities are placeholders; actual needs will be determined by individual districts - All 175 public K-12 entities in Kentucky are eligible to use the contracts - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must comply with Kentucky education technology standards and E-rate regulations - OEM authorization required for all products/services offered; OEM signoff on reseller responses is mandatory - Transparent, auditable pricing required - Installation and initial configuration required for all hardware - Designated support personnel required - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs named; proposals from all qualified manufacturers and resellers are welcome - The contract will serve as the standard for K-12 technology procurement across Kentucky

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking state master contract(s) to establish contract pricing for a procurement vehicle for E-rate eligible networking hardware, software, and services. This procurement vehicle will be available to all public K-12 districts in Kentucky, with quantities unknown as it is not for a specific purchase.
