Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement. All information received in response to this notice will be used as a market survey and for preliminary planning purposes. This is NOT as solicitation for proposals; a contract will NOT be awarded from this SOURCES SOUGHT; and PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUIRED at this time. Reimbursement will NOT be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT or any follow-up requests for information. The SOURCES SOUGHT or resulting market research do NOT restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this SOURCES SOUGHT or resulting market research. Respondents are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and submit responses according to the directions listed.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Far East District (FED), has a requirement for Architect-Engineer (A-E) services requiring the solicitation and award of Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDCs) in support of the United States Forces Korea (USFK) and other DoD (Department of Defense) facilities within the Republic of Korea (ROK). The proposed acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The results of market research will determine the acquisition approach for this requirement.

The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of business sources and members of industry for this requirement. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition amongst the potential pool of qualified firms.

The contract Period of Performance (PoP) is to be determined but will likely be for a total of 5 (five) years, including all options. The total contract capacity is estimated at approximately $200M, subject to full definition of requirements and results of market research. The estimated task order range is from a minimum of $10K through a maximum of $10M. The actual minimum and maximum task order amounts for the resulting contract(s) will be determined after the completion of market research, which includes an analysis of the sources sought capabilities statements received.

Prior Government contract work is NOT required for submitting a response to this sources sought announcement. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) issuance date is approximately January 2027 and will be issued via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE); https://www.sam.gov.

Interested firms shall provide a response to this sources sought no later than 30 July 2026. Responses are limited to the completed Capability Statement document included as an attachment to this announcement. Firms must be registered in https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts and are encouraged to verify their registration status prior to response submission.
