This opportunity is for the installation of mobile radio systems in Navy Fire & Emergency Services vehicles at multiple California naval installations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Navy Region Southwest (NRSW), Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) - NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Motorola (Motorola XTL 5000 mobile radio systems) - Kenwood (Kenwood mobile radio systems) - Vendors/Products/Services Requested: - Installation of Motorola XTL 5000 and Kenwood mobile radio systems (radio units provided as Government-Furnished Equipment) - Installation of Troy Products command post modules with hinged drawer face whiteboard drawer and power protection 911 circuit package - Installation of high-gain, low-profile antennas, NMO mounts, and low-loss RF coaxial cabling - Installation of shielded power runs, fuses, ignition-sense wiring, LVD switches, and OEM data/control cables - Installation of vehicle-specific mounting brackets and faceplates - All labor, tools, materials, and technical expertise for installation, physical mounting, wiring, and functional testing - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Motorola R56 installation standards and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)/DoDI communication requirements - Contractor must supply all installation hardware and ancillary materials (except primary radio units) - Work includes a variety of emergency vehicles (F-250s, ARFF vehicles, ambulances, aerial units) - Firm-fixed-price contract with delivery required within 120 days of award - Focus on small business participation, including 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB/EDWOSB programs
