This opportunity seeks a contractor to deliver comprehensive Airfield Management Services for the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB) and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield in Mississippi. - Government Buyer: - United States Air Force, 14th Flying Training Wing, Airfield Operations Flight - Scope of Services: - Provide professional airfield management, including daily inspections, emergency response, bird hazard management, runway condition reporting, flight plan processing, and support for distinguished visitors - Supply all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and vehicles (including a vehicle with emergency lighting and four-wheel drive) - Develop and manage airfield driving and training programs in compliance with Air Force and FAA standards - Deliver contingency support and emergency response for in-flight/ground incidents, natural disasters, and exercises - Maintain compliance with USAF and FAA safety standards for military airfield operations - Contract Structure: - Base year plus five one-year option periods (total potential duration: six years) - Includes contingency support hours and travel expenses for annual training - No specific OEMs, hardware products, or part numbers are identified; the procurement is focused on service delivery and operational support - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide a fully equipped vehicle for airfield operations - All airfield management personnel must be trained and qualified per Air Force instructions - Quality assurance and performance thresholds are defined in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)

Description

The Contractor shall provide professional, safe, and effective Airfield Management Services (AMS) to the 14th Flying Training Wing (14 FTW), Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), Mississippi and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield, which is approximately 40 miles away from the main base. A complete inspection of the airfield needs to be conducted daily to include inspection of aircraft parking, airfield markings, general pavement and infrastructure, and the runway arresting system. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform all tasks and functions as defined in the PWS. The Contractor shall maintain, examine, and inspect CAFB and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield to guarantee military and civilian customers a safe operating environment. The Contractor shall conduct Airfield support activities in strict compliance with United States Air Force (USAF) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards mandating safety requirements for military operations.  Please see the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional information.
