Description

The  acquisition of Sea Commander (SC) system engineering and sustainment services is on behalf of the USCG Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Service Center Command, Control and Navigation Product Line (C5ISC PL). Assets covered are systems/equipment resident on/in support of all platforms that require SC to perform directed missions. The contractor shall provide the necessary support, execution of logistics, engineering tasks and related training to maintain SC assets functioning to ensure maximized availability.

Sea Commander is a non-major IT system that provides real-time tactical data processing and tracking, weapons integration and sensor interfaces aboard USCG’s National Security Cutters (NSC). Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the SC system and is the only known source that possesses the totality of engineering and technical data required to procure, install, and provide training necessary to manage the SC system effectively.

Engineering tasks and related training activities as specified to maintain Sea Commander assets functioning as designed to ensure maximized system availability.
