The U.S. Air Force's 105th Airlift Wing at Stewart Air National Guard Base is seeking a contractor for quarterly maintenance of its MCSAT indoor shooting range. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 105th Airlift Wing (ANG), Stewart Air National Guard Base, Newburgh, NY - Office: W7NR USPFO ACTIVITY NYANG 105 - OEMs and Vendors: - Meggitt (manufacturer of target carrier systems and range equipment) - Products/Services Requested: - Quarterly inspection, preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of: - Meggitt equipment (ICU model EF5, CBN Drive Unit, Target Carrier, Monorail Track System) - HVAC systems - Ballistic glass - AR500 steel panels - Lutron lighting fixtures and controllers - PA system - Bullet traps - Integrated server/computer systems - Contractor must furnish all necessary supplies and equipment - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Technicians must be certified or experienced with Meggitt systems - Maintenance records must be kept onsite - Contractor responsible for repairing any damage caused and proper debris disposal - Coordination with CATM Section Chief required for scheduling - Acceptance tests to be performed with government representative - Period of Performance: - One base year with four option years - Four maintenance visits per year, each visit lasting up to 5 days (including travel) - Evaluation Criteria: - Price, past performance with Meggitt systems, and amendment acknowledgments - Contract Type: - Firm fixed price

Description

Range maintenance for a MCSAT indoor shooting range at Stewart ANGB, Newburgh, NY. The ranges complex infrastructure includes a negative pressure building, 12 distinct lanes, roof-mounted HVAC systems, AR500 steel panels, ballistic glass, Lutron light fixtures and controllers, Meggitt target carrier systems, and an enclosed bullet trap. Furthermore, there is a rear tower, which houses a server and computer system linked to lights and Meggitt target carriers. Quarterly maintenance is required. Experience in working on Meggitt equipment and indoor shooting ranges is required. The 105th AW is looking for a contract for 1 year with 4 option years.
