The Department of the Air Force, Illinois Air National Guard, 126th Contracting Office is seeking a contractor for comprehensive interior renovations at the 126th Air Refueling Wing Headquarters (Building 5000) at Scott Air Force Base, IL. - Scope of Work: - Interior repairs, reconfiguration, and renovations on the first and second floors to consolidate personnel and optimize space - Partitioning Room 138 into two offices for the Wing Recruiting Squadron - Reconfiguring the MSG Command Suite, including optional high-end finishes (e.g., glass double doors, wood slat ceiling tiles) - Construction, electrical, HVAC, and finish work per DoD and Air Force standards - Minimal disruption to ongoing operations required - Key Products and Materials: - Marshfield Algoma Signature Series Wood Veneer Door or approved equivalent (1 unit) - BEST 9K series cylindrical lever lockset and 7-PIN SFIC core or approved equivalent - Mecho/5 Manual Roller Shades or approved equivalent for all exterior windows - Alcon 14125 or approved equivalent LED lighting fixtures - Mannington Elevation 18"x36" Tile Carpeting or approved equivalent (approx. 1,141 SF) - Johnsonite Rubber Base or approved equivalent - Armstrong Prelude XL Grid System and Optima Ceiling Tiles or approved equivalent (approx. 1,141 SF) - Kawneer 350 Medium Stile glass double-door assembly or approved equivalent (1 unit) - Felt Right 2' x 2' Walnut Wood Slat Ceiling Panels (289 units, Variant 49154923987172) - Solid-wood chair rail molding (289 units) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Construction Wage Rate Requirements - Payment and performance bonds required - Contractor to propose and negotiate period of performance (estimated at 60 days) - All work must meet DoD and Air Force facility standards - No specific OEMs are mandated; "or approved equivalent" is allowed for most products, but several leading brands are referenced as standards.
